INGREDIENTS
1/3 - 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
1 scoop vegan protein powder
1-2 tbsp ground chia or flax seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup plant milk of choice for cooking
1/2 cup water
Topping Suggestions:
Seasonal fruit of choice
Nut butter
Cacao nibs
Plant-based yogurt
Sprinkle of cinnamon
METHOD
Place quinoa flakes in a pot and cover with boiling water or plant milk and allow to cook for a few minutes.
Once the quinoa flakes are cooked, turn down the heat and mix in the cinnamon, ground chia/flax seeds, and protein powder. Be prepared to add in more water here as the chia seeds and protein powder soak up a lot of moisture!
Once everything is combined, pour the cooked porridge mixture into a bowl. Top with all of your favourite toppings and enjoy!
