INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup quinoa flakes

  • 1 scoop vegan protein powder

  • 1-2 tbsp ground chia or flax seeds

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup plant milk of choice for cooking

  • 1/2 cup water

    Topping Suggestions:

    • Seasonal fruit of choice

    • Nut butter

    • Cacao nibs

    • Plant-based yogurt

    • Sprinkle of cinnamon

METHOD

  1. Place quinoa flakes in a pot and cover with boiling water or plant milk and allow to cook for a few minutes.

  2. Once the quinoa flakes are cooked, turn down the heat and mix in the cinnamon, ground chia/flax seeds, and protein powder. Be prepared to add in more water here as the chia seeds and protein powder soak up a lot of moisture!

  3. Once everything is combined, pour the cooked porridge mixture into a bowl. Top with all of your favourite toppings and enjoy!
