HOMEMADE HUMMUS
MAKES 1 SMALL JAR | TAKES 5-10 MINUTES (plus leave to sit overnight)
INGREDIENTS
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp unhulled tahini
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 cup water
Iodised sea salt
Thumb sized piece of ginger (optional but recommended!)
METHOD
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth!
Store in an air tight jar in the fridge & enjoy on sandwiches, as a dip, or added to nourish bowls!
