HOMEMADE HUMMUS

MAKES 1 SMALL JAR | TAKES 5-10 MINUTES (plus leave to sit overnight)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 2 tbsp unhulled tahini

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Iodised sea salt

  • Thumb sized piece of ginger (optional but recommended!)

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth!

  2. Store in an air tight jar in the fridge & enjoy on sandwiches, as a dip, or added to nourish bowls!
