INGREDIENTS

For the patties:

For the secret sauce:

  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

  • 2 tbsp sugar free tomato sauce

For the burgers:

  • 1 x burger patty

  • Mixed lettuce

  • Tomato, sliced

  • Pickles

  • Beetroot slices (try to get one that is 100% beetroot in the ingredients)

  • 1/2 avocado

  • Favourite bread or buns

METHOD

  1. Start by preparing your homemade burgers according to recipe. Alternatively, you can use store bought.

  2. In a small bowl, make the secret sauce by combining the mustard and tomato sauce and mix well. Adding water little by little until desired consistency is reached.

  3. Once the patties are cooked and your sauce is ready, assemble the patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, beetroot, avocado and sauce on the bread or burger buns. Close and enjoy!
